his royal highness prince dim son

recently allowed this much: that the Iraq conflict had stirred "a certain unease as you head into an election year."

"Whenever you're at war and you've got 135,000 of our young men and women overseas, it is unsettling to Americans," House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) conceded to reporters recently. Just ask the loved ones of the maimed, heh, Boner? "Feeling a little unsettled today, folks? Too bad about your son's testicles."

so, it's just an unsettling feeling of unease that I feel. for a while there i thought it was shame at my government and at the people who installed it for lying us into an optional war. i thought it was anger at the utter shame that torture and criminal domestic spying have brought to us all. i thought it was a wrecked treasury. i thought they were big lies about both social security AND Medicare. I thought it was about allowing a major national city to die before our very eyes, without relief or respite in the names of the taxpayers who thought they were looking out for their fellow citizens during emergencies, only to learn that official policy is not to give a fuck. my bad.

boy, am I uneasy and unsettled. pretty fucking unsettled and uneasy, indeed. the certain unease bush smells on the wind is a war crimes tribunal. our president. he thinks the election year is cause for concern. he should. he is that much closer to the dock this year, this "election'. but it is all rigged, and the illusion of accountability will remain a sham. so, yes, I am uneasy too. worried sick.
